Isabella and Christopher Columbus

Although Isabella lived a very short life of only 54 years, she accomplished many things.

One of the most famous things Isabella is remembered for is the voyage of Christopher Columbus.Queen Isabella sent the Italian explore to discover new lands that could be colonized by Spain.Christopher went on 4 different voyages to the Americas because Spain wanted to establish permanent colonies on the island of Hispaniola or what is now the Caribeans.
